Had a wonderful late lunch here yesterday with my mum. Great food and excellent service from Molly! She was amazing at advising about the food, wines and she made our time here extra special. Highly recommend Pranzo for authentic and delicious Italian Calabrese food and drinks. We will be back
Pranzo in Horsforth is absolutely amazing. To start the cod cheeks was something a little different but such a good choice. The sauce was creamy and the cheeks were so tender. For mains, the lobster ravioli was absolutely incredible. Packed full of flavour in an amazingly rich sauce. The Paccheri with Nduja you couldn't go wrong with. Fantastic ingredients cooked perfectly. A standout Italian restaurant!
Had a lovely dinner for two last night. The food was very good, especially the mafalde with Nonna’s tomato sauce and the pistachio cheesecake! The staff were very attentive and friendly. A bit on the pricier side but definitely worth the cost for special occasions. A welcomed addition to Horsforth.
We came here not knowing what to expect but we were blown away by the food! Fantastic pasta and would recommend the garlic bread (some of the best we’ve ever had). Generous portion sizes too. Service had a few faults but I know they have just opened so I’m sure these will get sorted soon! Looking forward to returning.
Third time here, now feeling confident that the standard is consistent. The sever Bella was very friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable about both the food and wine on the menu. She helped us with deciding on what food to have and which wine to drink, she certainly had a good impact on us. Excellent service, twined with great authentic Italian food, I highly recommend this eatery, it is by far the best Italian this side of Calabria!
We couldn’t make it to Milan this week for pasta, but we found the next best thing at Pranzo Italian. Their handmade pasta is fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious—pure Italian perfection. Even the desserts are heavenly. It’s a little slice of Italy right here near us!
We came for the set course Valentines day menu. It was absolutely delicious from start to finish. From the bread and olives to start to the fig pudding to finish, everything was cooked well with excellent flavour. The cocktails were also very good, I liked their takes on classic cocktails. The pasticcio martini was my favourite. The staff were also fantastic, making sure everything was good for the whole evening. Excellent time, we will be back.
Visited Prezzo Italian today for the lunch special and had a fantastic experience. We tried the Ragu and the crispy chicken sandwich—both were absolutely delicious, especially the sandwich which was beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The interior of the restaurant is stunning, modern yet cosy, and the service was amazing from start to finish. Everything was spotless and well-presented, making for a really pleasant atmosphere. All of this for just 37—great value for money. Very happy and we’ll definitely be back!
